Becca Rodriguez Joins Grandview As Manager
Grandview has brought in Curate alum Becca Martinez to serve as a manager in its growing intellectual property department.
Martinez brings with her clients including Philip K. Dick Award nominee Rebekah Bergman; Pushcart Prize nominee Lucie Britsch, who has multiple novels under option and in development; New York Times bestselling author and journalist Maureen Callahan; International Latino Book Award winner Ann Dávila Cardinal; PEN America/Hemingway Award-winning author Oscar Hokeah; USA Today bestseller Jessica Joyce; PEN/Faulkner Award-winning author Deesha Philyaw, whose collection of short stories, The Secret Lives of Church Ladies, she is co-adapting for Tessa Thompson’s Viva Maude and Max; Sue Grafton Memorial Award nominee Marcie Rendon; debut novelist Hattie Williams; and Locus Award finalist Hannah Yang. I deeply admire their sharp professional acumen, creator first mentality, and goals in fostering bold, distinct, and authentic storytellers. Known for its roster of top-tier filmmakers and showrunners, Grandview’s clients include Joseph Kosinski ( Top Gun: Maverick), Adam Wingard ( Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire), Dan Trachtenberg ( Prey), Chris Mundy ( Ozark), Michael Waldron ( Loki), and Ryan J.
