BeBe Winans & Gerald Albright have topped the Gospel Airplay Chart with ‘Father in Heaven (Right Now).'
“The songs I write are like children to me and ‘Father in Heaven (Right Now)’ is a very special kid,” Winans tells Billboard. He most recently led in 2018 as part of Dave Koz and Friends: Summer Horns II From A to Z, also with Rick Braun, Richard Elliot and Audrey Logan. Before that, “He Promised Me,” featuring Tobbi and Tommi with Kiandra, led for a week in April 2018 and “Close to You,” with CeCe Winans, his sister and longtime collaborator, dominated for 10 frames beginning in September 2009.
