Beatles Biopics Reveal Fab Four Casting, 2028 Release Date
The starring cast for the highly anticipated Beatles films helmed by director Sam Mendes was revealed in Las Vegas on Monday.
Officially titled The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event, Mendes touted that each installment in the multi-part biopic will be the “first binge-able theatrical experience,” adding, “Perhaps this is a chance to understand them a little more deeply.” According to The Hollywood Reporter, all four actors recited lyrics from 1967’s “Sgt. “I’m honored to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies,” Mendes previously shared in a statement. The director — whose previous work include American Beauty, Revolutionary Road, Skyfall, and more — will be the first to have full access to both the life stories of each member and the band’s music rights for a scripted film.
