Bears Excuse Jonathan Owens From Practice to Support Simone Biles in Paris
The Chicago Bears coach explained why he is letting Jonathan Owens miss preseason practice to support his wife, Simone Biles, at the Olympics
The Olympic gold medalist and the NFL player, who was then a Houston Texans safety, met via the dating app Raya in March 2020. The Texas native started taking gymnastics classes at age 6 and earned an invite to the junior national team camp by 14. “In the back [gym], we already knew my gymnastics was kind of janky,” Biles shared during an April appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
