Beabadoobee’s ‘Beaches’ Are Better on ‘Kimmel’
On Jimmy Kimmel Live, pop rocker Beabadoobe performed "Beaches," a standout from her third album, 'This Is How Tomorrow Moves'
Beabadoobee took the outdoor stage Thursday at Jimmy Kimmel Live to a rousing applause as she geared up to perform “Beaches” from her Rick-Rubin-produced third album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves. “As crunchy guitars that recall Weezer’s ‘Island in the Sun’ crash around the chorus, she finds her bliss in life’s duality, sharing her latest discovery: ‘Don’t wait for the tide, just to dip both your feet in,’” Georgi wrote. Last month, Beabadoobee wrapped a 12-date North American tour supporting the album at Los Angeles’s Greek Theatre.
