BBC's The Repair Shop gets spin-off - but host Jay Blades will be given less air time after love split
Jay Blades will reportedly back on screens with The Repair Shop gang as the BBC One show 'has been given a green light' for a spin-off where the team will travel around the country
“This is a great vote of confidence in The Repair Shop’s presenter, even if it does see the limelight shift from him somewhat in this spin-off,” an insider told the publication. The main show returned for it’s 13th season back in April, with new member Rebecca Bissonnet, a textiles conservator, joining the team. It’s been a tough few months for Jay, who took to social media at the end of April to inform fans he’d attended his uncle’s funeral, who was tragically murdered.
