BBC's Emily Maitlis breaks silence on Netflix's Scoop after being 'replaced' in film

BBC Newsnight presenter Emily Maitlis has opened up about Netflix's new film Scoop, which is based on her explosive interview with Prince Andrew, admitting she's not seen it yet

Emily Maitlis has finally spoken out about the Netflix film 'Scoop', which dramatises her headline-making interview with Prince Andrew, but she's made a surprising confession she hasn't actually watched the controversial movie yet. 'Scoop' also features Billie Piper, 41, in the role of producer Sam McAlister, who is known for nailing down the interview and penned the book 'Scoops', which reportedly inspired the Netflix offering. Watching someone else portray her life and career on screen left Emily describing the feeling as "very strange" yet "brilliant", but the release date of this hotly anticipated series remains a mystery.
