The BBC was forced to apologise to Queen's host Clare Balding back in 2013 following an 'indefensible' joke about her sexuality.

The BBC was once forced to apologise to Queen’s host Clare Balding over an “indefensible” joke made about her sexuality. Clare – who is hosting the Tennis: Queen’s this week – is openly gay and is married to former BBC newsreader Alice Arnold. In a round in which the contestants are asked to “defend the indefensible” comedian Bob Mills said: “Give me 20 minutes with her and I’m pretty sure I could turn around Clare Balding.”
