BBC viewers blast Christmas Day TV schedule as they vow to 'switch to ITV'
The BBC's Christmas Day TV line-up has been met with a lukewarm reception from viewers - with some claiming they'll 'switch off' as they look for better entertainment
The Radio Times has disclosed that the day will kick off with animated hits like Trolls: Holiday in Harmony, Toy Story 3, Minions: The Rise of Gru, and the small-screen version of Julia Donaldson's Tiddler. A sentimental fan reminisced about past festive TV, saying: "I still miss the 80s' staple of having Noel Edmonds hosting a live Christmas Day programme at lunchtime, from the top of BT tower, or somewhere. She went on to say: "I'm incredibly excited to be showcasing the finest British creativity and welcoming back some of the nation's favourite characters in the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey and the premiere of Wallace and Gromit's new feature length adventure.
