BBC The Traitors 'keen to sign comedy icon' for celebrity spin-off


The Traitors bosses are said to be targeting a string of A-list stars - including a global comedy icon - for the new celebrity spin-off version of the hit BBC show

And now it's been reported that Ricky Gervais is top of their wish list, with sources revealing the broadcaster hopes the comedian, 63, could return to the channel where he first found fame for his role in The Office. Behind the scenes, big names have already expressed their interest in taking part from the moment it was revealed the new version of The Traitors was being made. "Seeing famous faces navigate the round table or don the infamous green cloaks will be unmissable TV, and what a double treat for the fans with Series 4 also confirmed too.
