BBC The One Show halted for important announcement as 'horrific' real-world tragedy discussed

The One Show was halted for an important announcement this evening following an intense interview on a "horrific" real-world tragedy

On the evening of Wednesday (April 23), presenters Alex Jones and JB Gill were joined on the show by actors Max Beesley and Edison Alcaide, who are set to appear in the new Disney+ series Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles De Menezes. "I remember where I was on the day, we were meant to do a read-through of a show at 9, and the producers said let's start at 8.30 so we were on the infrastructure going into the workplace an hour earlier than we would have been," he recounted. As the interview came to a close, Alex paused the show's regular flow, turning to the camera to deliver a vital message to those tuning in.
