BBC Studios Backs New David Olusoga Indie


David Olusoga has launched Hillgate Films backed by BBC Studios and the 'A House Through Time' presenter will make documentaries.

Olusoga is joined at Hillgate by MD, Ben Hall, who was previously Global Director of Programmes at Motion Content Group. Olusoga said: “I’m excited to launch Hillgate Films and begin this new chapter of producing and presenting projects that challenge, educate, and engage audiences. Kate Ward, Managing Director, Unscripted Productions at BBC Studios says – “David has a proven track record of telling bold and nuanced stories from history that resonate globally and can drive conversations and change perspectives.
