BBC Strictly judges back Giovanni Pernice amid bully row as he launches a new perfume


Strictly Come Dancing judges Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke have shown their support for Giovanni Pernice and his new career move after he was hit with claims from Amanda Abbington

Giovanni shared the exciting news on Instagram and said: "My aim in launching VITA was to create products to inspire and bring joy to life, and to explore another creative outlet for my passions. The post marks the first public social media post from Giovanni since his former Strictly Come Dancing partner Amanda Abbington made claims against him (Image: BBC/Ray Burmiston)The BBC stated that it has not received any formal complaints from any of Gio's dance partners and was confused when Amanda requested to see rehearsal footage for a possible legal claim. A spokesperson told The Mirror: "Strictly has a track record as a joyful experience where robust support and assistance is available."
