BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Sarah Hadland speaks out on 'friction' with partner Vito

Post-Strictly, Sarah Hadland has spoke out on her relationship with pro partner Vito Coppola. In an exclusive chat with Mirror, she passionately recounted the challenges and breakthroughs with Vito, admitting: "It's one thing to have other people say, 'Are you really going to do that? Aren't you a bit old?' What's worse is you going, 'Yeah, I am'.

She said Vito helped with her confidence but it caused "friction at times" (Image: Mike Marsland/WireImage) Sarah, a 53 year old single mum, shared: "What Strictly made me realise is you get to a point in life and you have your values, your morals and certain things born out of experience. Her bond with Vito both on and off the dance floor played a significant role in her reaching last month's final – where she competed against comic Chris McCausland, Love Islander Tasha Ghouri and JLS singer JB Gill. It’s simultaneously exhilarating and terrifying.” Mum-of-one Sarah, 53, likens it to being on a “speeding train”, saying: “Sometimes, you want to get off, have a cup of tea and a lie-down, but you wouldn’t dream of it, because it’s so thrilling you don’t want it to end.
