BBC stars attacked by giant hornets live on air during Euro 2024 England coverage

BBC pundits including Gary Lineker and Rio Ferdinand were left being "attacked by big hornets" as the England squad took on Serbia as part of the Euro 2024 tournament

Gary Lineker revealed that he and his fellow BBC pundits were “attacked by big hornets” during the Euro 2024 coverage of England’s match against Serbia on Sunday, 16 June. However, while the Three Lions may have impressed fans with their work on the pitch, with the team beating Serbia with a 1-0 result, things were less smooth sailing in the studio and the presenters were approached by some unwanted insect guests. As England prepared for their match against Serbia, their loved ones showed their support for the squad ahead of the game, with Anouska Santos, who is the partner of Luke Shaw, expressing her excitement as she headed to Manchester airport on Saturday, 15 June.
