BBC star who worked with David Attenborough jailed over sickening animal sex crimes
A former BBC zoologist has been jailed for more than 10 years after admitting to 56 offences related to the torture and sexual exploitation of more than 42 animals
His own pets, Swiss Shepherds named Ursa and Bolt, were among the victims, abused in a hidden room on his property in McMinns Lagoon, near Darwin, reports the Mirror. His spree continued until he was caught following the circulation of a video showcasing his vile behaviour, which he had shared online, leading to his arrest by Australia's Northern Territory animal welfare authorities. Once noted for his reputable standing as a crocodile specialist and senior researcher at Charles Darwin University, Britton managed to conceal his sinister secrets while working alongside Sir David Attenborough during the filming of the renowned BBC series 'Life in Cold Blood'.
