BBC star who worked on Antiques Roadshow dies aged 53 as tributes pour in from colleagues


Antiques Roadshow Television producer and director Nicky Illis has heartbreakingly died of cancer aged 53, with BBC colleague Fiona Bruce describing her as 'irreplaceable' following the news

Nicky, who also worked on Alan Carr's Adventures with Agatha Christie in 2022, first came into the industry back in the 1990s and went on to produce shows such as One Foot in the Past as well as The House Detectives. The post read: "We were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of factual director and our member Nicky Illis.
