BBC star rushed to hospital amid cancer battle - forcing them to suddenly axe shows


A comedian who's starred on the BBC has cancelled her upcoming UK tour – as she shared a sad update on her incurable cancer, revealing she is currently in hospital

the beloved star – who has a BBC Radio 4 series about her cancer battle, Janey Godley: The C Bomb – shared that she is currently in hospital receiving treatment for sepsis, which thankfully is now "under control". Touching hearts, Janey also relayed a heartfelt birthday message from her daughter, Ashley Storrie, this January, expressing joy at marking another year since her diagnosis. After marking a day she never thought "would happen", Janey shared her daughter Ashley's heartfelt message with her 293,000 followers on X, previously known as Twitter.
