BBC star reveals he's been rushed to hospital after waking up in 'absolute agony'
The actor starred in the soap from 2023 to 2024, and shared his health scare with his followers on Instagram on Tuesday.
Posting a snap of his arm attached to hospital monitors, David wrote: 'Waking up in absolute agony with possible kidney stones is not how I planned to start my day. While on the surface Carter presented himself as a kind-hearted headteacher, but in reality he resented himself for having feelings for men, and bullied teen Lucas Hay to reject his sexuality. Speaking about the hard-hitting storyline, David told The Radio Times: 'There were really heavy moments where I had to be cruel to people; I had to be horrible, I had to say spiteful, vicious things - some of which I've had said to me in the past.
