BBC star issues emotional update after mum was suddenly rushed to hospital


After he left his radio show early yesterday, Stephen Nolan has filled listeners in on the emergency that caused him to make a swift exit from his Radio Ulster show

BBC presenter Stephen Nolan has updated fans after he was forced to pull out of his radio show after this mother was taken ill. Stephen departed The Nolan Show, which he presents every weekday morning on BBC Ulster, 30 minutes early on Tuesday 8 October, after receiving news that his mum has been found collapsed on the floor. "What happened was I was presenting the show yesterday morning and I got a phone call to say my mum had been found on the floor. He added that he was blown away by the messages he received enquiring about his mum’s welfare.
