Comedian and BBC star Janey Godley has confirmed to her fans that she is receiving palliative care, and will be going into a hospice amid her cancer diagnosis

In a heartfelt video posted on X, which used to be known as Twitter, Janey shared that she's entering palliative care and will be moving into a hospice as she battles cancer. In conclusion, Janey sent out a message of love and support to others dealing with a "life-limiting disease" and explained that her condition was the reason behind the cancellation of her tour. The official statement about the comedian's career read: "It is with huge sadness that we must announce the cancellation of Janey Godley's autumn 2024 tour."
