BBC Sherwood season 2 cast: Who is returning for the BBC drama?
Season two of BBC's hit Nottingham based drama, Sherwood, kicked off last night and there were many returnees as well as new faces in the cast so let's take a look at them...
David Morrissey makes a comeback as Ian St Clair, who, after hanging up his detective hat, has become the local "anti-violence tsar", bracing himself for tough trials ahead after a fatal attack rocks the community. David’s impressive acting repertoire includes roles in The Walking Dead, The Other Boleyn Girl, and Britannia, not to mention his work in The Long Shadow, and obviously, Sherwood's first run. Sharlene Whyte, known for her role as Jenny Edwards in The Story of Tracy Beaker and appearances in shows like We Hunt Together and Lockwood and Co. , will be stepping into the shoes of Pam Bottomley, Ryan's step-mum who finds herself in a tricky situation due to his actions.
