BBC Radio 2 shake-up as legend set to return to the station after three years


BBC Radio 2 is set to welcome back a familiar voice and a stand-in presenter this weekend as the station sees a small shake-up, with Zoe Ball announcing the news

After a three-year hiatus since leaving BBC Radio 6 to host a hit podcast, Shaun Keaveny is set to fill in for Rob Beckett on the Sunday evening slot. Flashing a beaming grin alongside the station's signage, Nick couldn't contain his enthusiasm as he announced to his 1.3 million followers: "So this is exciting, beyond thrilled to say I'll be looking after you on Saturday afternoons on @bbcradio2 whilst @rylan is away. Rylan had previously told his fans about his mother's unfortunate accident in September, sharing that during a much-needed holiday—the first in 10 years for Linda—she suffered a nasty fall, resulting in a broken arm and leg.
