BBC Race Across The World's James Mukherjee praised for 'TV moment of 2024'

Race Across The World star James Mukherjee has been praised for showing emotion on screen, as he broke down in tears and asked for a hug from a cameraman

BBC Race Across The World contestant James Mukherjee has candidly spoken on a tearful moment on the show where he was comforted by a behind-the-scenes cameraman. In the last but one episode, the 21-year old contestant shared an intimate moment with his sister Betty, 26, that ended in tears when she revealed her health struggle with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) Syndrome. Best mates Alfie and Owen came out as winners, bagging themselves the hefty £20,000 prize, beating mother-daughter duo Eugenie and Isabel by just eight minutes to the final checkpoint on Gili Meno.
