BBC presenter in hospital dash after 'bone breaks off' in 'terrifying' accident at home


Stephen Nolan was absent from his show on BBC Radio Ulster on Friday morning after an accident involving a box of tiles resulted in him spending six hours in A&E

Joining his radio station via telephone line, Stephen revealed he had spent six hours in A&E, causing him to miss the show. "There is a little bit of kind of reluctance to believe any of this inside your team this morning... because they don't believe for a second that you actually do anything like physical manual labour,” he joked on air. “Massive pile of floor tiles which are not fitted yet standing up in boxes - I under estimated their weight & pulled them towards me to open a drawer they were leaning against .
