BBC presenter Bryan Burnett has revealed that he has been diagnosed with cancer of the appendix and will take time out of work

A presenter on BBC Radio Scotland has revealed that he has been diagnosed with an “incredibly rare” form of cancer. Speaking about what he’s gone through in recent weeks, Bryan said: “I’ve experienced the most incredible care and kindness from the NHS staff who have been looking after me. Bryan said: “I want to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all my brilliant producers for all the hand holding and all the encouragement they’ve given me since they found out my news.
