BBC Player Set To Launch On India’s Tata Play Binge
'Luther', 'Joan' and David Attenborough are set for outings on Indian streamer Tata Play Binge.
The streamer offers BBC shows such as Luther, Pride and Prejudice, Doctor Who and Top Gear, along with acquired series including Grand Indian Hotel, Citizen Khan, Mr. Bean and The Great British Bake Off. “BBC Studio’s premium storytelling and rich library of highly celebrated shows perfectly complement our growing content roster, and we are confident that our users will love this addition.” For BBC Studios, the news comes nearly three months after it stopped producing content in India amid market contraction and other pressures.
