BBC newsreader George Alagiah died last summer nearly 10 years after his cancer diagnosis, now the contents of his will have been revealed

News BBC newsreader George Alagiah left less than £50,000 to his wife Frances when he died at the age of 67 last summer, it’s been claimed. New court documents have shown the total amount the broadcaster had in his personal estate at the time of his death. A statement from the BBC at the time said: “He is grateful for all the good wishes he has received thus far and is optimistic for a positive outcome.”
