A statement read: 'We’re sorry to have to share the news of the sad passing of much-loved creator of Sister Boniface'

Jude Tindall co-created detective drama Shakespeare and Hathaway and passed away just days before another of her shows, Sister Boniface Mysteries, began airing on mainstream TV - and weeks after filming started on the fourth series. In a statement, BBC Studios explained: "We’re sorry to share the news of the sad passing of much-loved creator of Sister Boniface, co-creator of Shakespeare and Hathaway and master of cosy crime, Jude Tindall.
