BBC icon's climate show is axed after three years on screen as host pays tribute to fans during final appearance


Tom, 58, who is known for hosting BBC's Countryfile, has paid an emotional tribute to the crew and viewers as he announced it was the last episode of Sky's The Climate Show.

The latest instalment of the long-running show saw presenter Anita Rani scavenging fields to uncover ancient relics and work alongside experts to measure electrical current in the ground - which is called resistivity. BBC Countryfile has recently come under fire as fans have been left fuming over the content of a special episode of the show which aired on Sunday evening.
