BBC MasterChef star Gregg Wallace was diagnosed with a painful condition that affects his stomach and causes him to double up in pain

The NHS explains that "diverticular disease and diverticulitis are conditions that affect the large intestine (bowel), causing tummy (abdominal) pain and other symptoms.
