BBC Garden Rescue star Charlie Dimmock on cruel body shaming and refusal to wear bra

Charlie Dimmock has been a familiar face on our TV screens for decades, but the Garden Rescue star has been subjected to cruel comments about her appearance

Despite the occasional jibe from online trolls about her looks, Charlie, now 57, remains an icon of natural beauty, often seen in her casual jeans and tees, her signature curls framing her makeup-free face. Reflecting on her on-screen attire during her days on Ground Force, Charlie addressed her decision to go braless, which made her a sex symbol. Charlie described her experience with celebrity and the spotlight as "a bit odd", receiving "silly letters" including a "marriage proposal from a farmer in Australia" which was "sweet" though she didn't "think it was serious".
