BBC EastEnders' Molly Rainford has a famous dad – and fans are gobsmacked
The actress has wowed viewers for her portrayal of Anna Knight, but some fans have only just who her father is – and they can't believe they never made the connection before
Now fans are surprised to learn that Molly – who first rose to prominence with her rendition of Ave Maria after making it to the Britain's Got Talent finals in 2012 at the tender age of 11 – isn't the only one in her family with a claim to fame. It was even attended by EastEnders stars past and present, from Letitia Dean (Sharon) to Samantha Womack (who had two spells as Ronnie Mitchell between 2007 and 2017) and Kara Tointon (who played Dawn Swann between 2005 and 2009). Musical superstars who attended Sylvia Young include the late Amy Winehouse, Adele, Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Billie Piper, Emma Bunton, All Saints' Mel Blatt and Nicole Appleton, Busted's Matt Willis and McFly's Tom Fletcher, reports the Mirror.
