BBC EastEnders' Bobby Brazier 'set to join I'm a Celeb' after he quits soap

EastEnders star Bobby Brazier is set to leave the soap later this year after three years of playing Freddie Slater, and it looks like he could already have his next move lined up

The 22-year-old actor, son of the unforgettable Big Brother star Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier, has been a hit as Freddie Slater on EastEnders since 2022 but is scheduled to make his exit in upcoming episodes airing later this year. An insider revealed to the publication that the decision for Bobby's departure was mutual, with the actor himself keen to explore new ventures, though fans will still catch him on Albert Square for a bit longer. Late last year, presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly watched as McFly's Danny Jones was crowned king of the jungle on the ITV reality show.
