BBC EastEnders couple confirm new engagement 22 years after first wedding

EastEnders is set for another romantic proposal in next week's episode and a celebration soon follows

EastEnders fans are in for a treat as next week's episodes will see Alfie Moon (played by Shane Richie) popping the question to Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), marking their third engagement. Later, amidst financial struggles and after welcoming twins Bert and Ernie Moon, the couple hit the jackpot and left Walford in 2016. It was then revealed that he had secretly fathered baby Cherry Slater with Kat's cousin Hayley (Katie Jarvis), reports Belfast Live.
