BBC EastEnders confirms split for iconic couple as they end things for good
EastEnders' will see on couple call time on their romance in upcoming episodes of the BBC soap after they struggled to come to terms with devastating news
Recent episodes of the BBC soap saw Lauren Branning ( Jacqueline Jossa) fretting over the health of her newborn son, Jimmy Beale, whom she shares with Peter (Thomas Law). In a surprising turn of events, rivals Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Cindy (Michelle Collins) unite to aid the couple, but it ends in heartbreak as Peter blames Lauren for Jimmy's health woes. After a heated argument, Lauren seeks comfort in alcohol, but as a recovering addict, she is turned away from The Vic and Harry's Barn by Linda (Kellie Bright) and Gina (Francesca Henry).
