Previously starring in the Channel 4 soap, Ali Bastian's character Becca Dean most famously featured in a high profile storyline which involved her dating a student while she was a teacher and contracting gonorrhoea. Towards the end of his stint on the soap, Paul famously locked Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) in the boot of his car after his wife Carla (Alison King) discovers he had been soliciting her as a prostitute.
