When introducing The Brutalist, Tennant said: “It’s the boldest film about architecture this year apart from Donald Trump’s hair in The Apprentice.” He then moved on to the next joke by adding: “Talking of villains,” which received loud applause from the crowd at London’s Royal Festival Hall. Tennant’s opening remarks began with him entering the stage to a rendition of The Proclaimers song I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles). Winners include Brady Corbet for The Brutalist, Conclave for Outstanding British Film, and Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldana in the supporting acting categories.
