Former BBC Breakfast presenter Ben Geoghegan left the iconic red sofa over 16 years ago and he's now in a very different career, having began working for a nuclear energy company

A former BBC Breakfast presenter has switched to a hugely different career after leaving the iconic red sofa 16 years ago. The plant in Somerset is the first to be built in a generation, and Ben, who officially exited the BBC around a decade ago, is leading the communications. The presenting duo were both back on the famous red sofa and woke up the nation with the news that organisers of The Big Butterfly Count are urging people to get involved.
