BBC Breakfast viewers were left mystified this morning when presenter Charlie Stayt failed to take his place next to Naga Munchetty, with no explanation for why he was missing
The 61-year old missing the show this morning was particularly strange given the praise viewers were heaping on him on June 6 for his interview with a D-Day veteran. Charlie talked about feeling relieved that the weather would be getting colder and cloudier, when Naga called out the host and insisted that it was actually going to be sunny. Hannah thought she was sent on the assignment of the century, getting to report live from an ice cream factory in Nantwich, but Naga did not seem to care for it.
