BBC Adapting ‘The Other Bennet Sister’ From Novel By Ex-BBC Two Controller Janice Hadlow Telling Story Of Forgotten Sister In ‘Pride And Prejudice’
The BBC has greenlit 'The Other Bennet Sister' adaptation from Janice Hadlow novel, Sarah Quintrell and Bad Wolf.
The book tells the story of Mary Bennet – the seemingly unremarkable and overlooked middle sister in Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. She is seemingly destined to an empty dance card for the rest of her life until Mary takes matters into her own hands. EPs are Kate Crowther, Becca Kinder and Jane Tranter for Bad Wolf, Rebecca Ferguson for the BBC, Quintrell, and Hadlow.
