BBC & BritBox Set ‘Towards Zero’ As Next Agatha Christie Limited Series
The BBC will adapt Agatha Christie's 'Towards Zero' following the 'Murder Is Easy' limited series. Rachel Bennette has been set to write.
Towards Zero unfolds around the murder of an elderly widow at a clifftop seaside house, linking a failed suicide attempt, a schoolgirl wrongfully accused of theft, and the romantic life of a famous tennis player. Executive producers are James Prichard for Agatha Christie Limited; Damien Timmer and Sheena Bucktowonsing for Mammoth Screen; Rachel Bennette, Danielle Scott-Haughton for the BBC; and Reemah Sakaan, Stephen Nye, and Robert Schildhouse for BritBox International. Starring David Jonsson, it averaged 7M viewers, putting it in line with other Christie adaptations, including Ordeal By Innocence, The ABC Murders, and The Pale Horse.
