Fox has landed a reboot of the highly-popular series as the network has closed on a deal with Freemantle according to Variety on Monday. The series originally starred Hasselhoff, now 71, from 1989 to 1999 before being retooled as Baywatch Hawaii from 1999 to 2001. Anderson, 56, led the red swimsuit brigade which included actresses like Yasmine Bleeth, Alexandra Paul, Erika Eleniak, Nicole Eggert, Parker Stevenson, in addition to several others.
