Barry Watson said he found out about his dad dying two days after being evacuated from his home during the L.A. wildfires

During a Sunday, March 17, panel at ‘90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, Watson, 49, responded to a fan who asked about the almost-kiss between himself and Jessica Biel, who played siblings Matt and Mary Camden, in the show’s first episode. Although Watson confirmed his home is still standing after the L.A. wildfires via the Instagram post, he was one of many stars and California residents forced to flee during the natural disaster.
