Barry Keoghan fell ill with a horrific flesh-eating bug which almost led to him having his arm amputated.
Saltburn star Barry, who has been left with a scar from the disease that runs the whole length of his arm, was so frightened he asked doctors if he was going to survive, to which they replied: 'Well, we don’t know.' The Banshees of Inisherin director Martin McDonagh recalled visiting Barry in hospital as they prepared to start shooting the film. A source told The Sun last year about the couple’s split: 'They’ve grown apart over recent months, and things have finally come to a head.'
