Barry Keoghan Joins Cillian Murphy & Rebecca Ferguson In ‘Peaky Blinders’ Movie At Netflix
Oscar nominee Barry Keoghan boarded Netflix’s upcoming Peaky Blinders movie; he is the latest high-profile name set opposite star Cillian Murphy
As Deadline previously reported, Netflix greenlighted the Peaky feature in June with Oppenheimer Oscar winner Murphy in a return to the iconic role of Tommy Shelby, leader of the eponymous Birmingham gangster family. While plot details are also being held close to the vest, Knight has previously told Deadline that a movie story would be set during World War II. He also has the untitled film from Trey Edward Shults on deck, alongside the Weekend and Jenna Ortega, and is in negotiations to join Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo in Amazon MGM Studios adaptation of Don Winslow’s novella Crime 101.
