Barbra Streisand’s New Duets Album Has One Diva-Packed Trio
With Mariah Carey and Ariana Grande among Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Hozier, Laufey, and many more.
This time, Streisand tapped rock icons like Paul McCartney and Bob Dylan, pop singer-songwriters Hozier and Laufey, and country star Tim McGraw. But in the meantime, Streisand has shared another taste of the album: Her and Hozier’s duet of “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face.” Originally written by Ewan MacColl, the song is most famous for the rendition by the late Roberta Flack. “Along with the honour I have to sing on this record with Barbra, I hope this duet offers something of a gesture to Roberta Flack’s incredible legacy,” Hozier said in a statement.
