Barbra Streisand’s Memoir, ‘My Name Is Barbra,’ Nominated for Audiobook of the Year by Audie Awards

Barbra Streisand's memoir 'My Name Is Barbra' is nominated for Audiobook and Autobiography of the Year at the 2025 Audie Awards.

The actress and musician began working on the project in the late Nineties, years after former First Lady Jackie Kennedy first approached her about writing a book. It will be up against All You Need Is Love: The Beatles in Their Own Words as produced by Guy Oldfield, George Clinton’s …And Your Ass Will Follow, Dolly Parton’s Behind The Seams: My Life In Rhinestones, and Jimmy Carter’s Last Sundays In Plains: A Centennial Celebration. My Name Is Barbra spans Streisand’s entire life, including her contributions as an actress and musician, as well as her friendships with the likes of Judy Garland, Marlon Brando, and her husband, James Brolin.
