Barbra Streisand Swears She Was Trying to Compliment Melissa McCarthy by Asking ‘Did You Take Ozempic?’
Barbra Streisand apologized after asking Melissa McCarthy if she'd taken Ozempic on Instagram, saying she was trying to pay the actress a compliment.
The photo was of McCarthy and director Adam Shankman en route to a charity gala, and, in full, Babs wrote, “Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?” Streisand continued: “Below them was a photo of my friend Melissa McCarthy who I sang with on my Encore album.” It’s true — the two joined forces for a duet of Irving Berlin’s “Anything You Can Do” from Annie Get Your Gun. And while, yes, she deleted the comment, it doesn’t appear like she’s embarked on a crusade to remove all reference of it from the web, thus drawing more attention to it (we think there’s a name for that, but it’s escaping us right now).
