Barack Obama Raps ‘Lose Yourself’ After Eminem Introduces Him at Kamala Harris’ Detroit Rally
Eminem took the stage at Kamala Harris' Detroit rally to introduce former President Barack Obama.
Former President Barack Obama lost himself in the music, the moment on Tuesday night (Oct. 22) at Kamala Harris and Tim Walz’s Detroit rally ahead of the 2024 presidential election next month. The Detroit native rapper took the stage to introduce Obama at the event, telling the cheering crowd, “I’m here tonight for a couple of reasons. The former president then broke into rapping the opening verse of Em’s Hot 100 chart-topper, “Lose Yourself,” noting that his “Palms were sweaty, knees weak/ Arms are heavy, vomit on my sweater already/ Mom’s spaghetti/ I’m nervous but on the surface, I’m calm already.”
